THANK YOU!:
Benefactor Recognition: Each year the Geneseo Art League is the recipient of generous funding by the Geneseo Foundation and donations by businesses & individuals. These donations, along with membership fees and sales commissions allow the League to continue operating and offering classes, trips, exhibits, and programs that bring art & enrichment to our community. The League has recently had the good fortune to receive special support from three benefactors to whom we offer our sincere thanks!
Mr. & Mrs. John Edwards: Mr. Edwards donated in honor of his late wife Tudi Edwards who passed away in 2009. Tudi was an ardent art education supporter. The "Best of Show" student award in the 2010 Maple City competition will be named the "Tudi Edwards Memorial Award" in her honor.
Revered & Mrs. Johnson: Revered & Mrs. Johnson have donated a number of paintings by one of our founding members, Roxy Walter (Aud), for our display or sale for League benefit.
George Manidok family: The family of George Manidok, who passed away in 2009, donated in his honor. George was an accomplished artist. Several other memorial donations have been made in his honor by members of the community--including a neighbor who as a child received lessons from George.
Again--our deepest thanks to these families for their generous support of the Geneseo Art League. Your generosity is appreciated and we welcome the opportunity to honor the memory of the special people, artists, and art supporters that inspired these donations.
